Piyutim: Sacred Poetry in Song took place Saturday, May 4 at 4:00 PM at the East Midwood Jewish Center.  Led by conductor Rachel Brook, the concert transported listeners to a world of splendor and joy. The chorus was joined by Cantors Josh Breitzer, Natasha Hirschhorn, Sam Levine and Lisa B. Segal, musical accompanists including Brian Gelfand, and a special guest appearance by members of HaZamir: The International Jewish High School Choir.
