Shir Chadash: The Brooklyn Jewish Community Chorus, under the direction of Rachel Brook, announces auditions  for our 14^th season. If you have a passion for Jewish music and are committed to the highest quality of performance, we encourage you to visit us and audition. All voice parts welcomed.

A 40+-member adult choir, Shir Chadash is a true community chorus -- welcoming, diverse and independent of denominational affiliation.  We rehearse September through June on Tuesdays, 7:30-9:30 pm, at The Park Slope Jewish Center, 14^th Street and Eighth Avenue in Brooklyn, NY. We perform several concerts each season and our repertoire includes everything from liturgical offerings in both classic and modern settings to updated arrangements of world folk music and the performance of new sacred and secular works.
